We can’t imagine how many smashed controllers this resulted in, as the player watches the ball stay on this side of the line like it suddenly became sentient and decided it didn’t want to be in the net, thank you very much.
Obviously scoring goals is the objective, but we think you’d agree that this one-in-a-million scenario was worth the miss.
