Are the wheels coming off already?
Leeds United have developed a bit of a reputation over recent years for building up fans' hopes of promotion before shattering those hopes in dramatic, spectacular fashion. Some refer to the phenomenon as "the wheels falling off".
Now, I'm not saying that's what's happening now - Leeds went into tonight's game against Sheffield Wednesday top of the league - but the wheels are wobbling.
Having gone on a solid run of eight matches unbeaten in the Championship, they lost to Birmingham City last weekend and got off to the worst possible start tonight, going 1-0 down to Sheffield Wednesday. It was an unstoppable strike, in fairness. You'd be hard pushed to find a goalkeeper who would get anywhere near it.
Just before the break, Wednesday forward Adam Reach took the ball in his stride before unleashing a looping volley, that sailed over Bailey Peacock-Farrell's head, before clipping the post on its way in.
