On the ITV panel for the game, Ryan Giggs was immediately looking forward to the future prospects for his home country in the 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign, getting in a nice dig at Ireland assistant manager and former team-mate Roy Keane while he was at it.
Roy, to be fair to him, took it well with a friendly slap to Giggs’ thighs, but we’re sure he had a stern word once the cameras stopped rolling.
