It was a brilliant team move
England got off to an ideal start against Spain this evening, pressing aggressively from the front and having their fair share of possession.
Gareth Southgate's side opened the scoring after just sixteen minutes with a brilliant team move.
The ball made its way to Luke Shaw on the left wing, who marauded forward into space, before unleashing a pin point cross that fizzed past the Spain defence and found Marcus Rashford at the back post. The Manchester United striker then slotted it cooly past his club teammate David De Gea.
The cross was almost intercepted by Nacho, although any touch would have likely diverted it into his own net.
Rashford has now scored in four of his six home starts for the national side. Raheem Sterling, he's coming for your place in the team.
