The director of the ad decided to make it as surreal as possible. By mixing live action footage of United stars such as Ashley Young and Daley with computer animation a la Space Jam (that movie really was ahead of its time), the whole thing resembles a deleted scene from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
Considering the amount of times this kit has been leaked, people probably weren't going to be talking about it too much after today's launch.
