Manchester United's industrious academy product has cemented his place in Louis van Gaal's thoughts with his energetic displays and direct style this season, but he should perhaps leave the showboating to others. Certainly when it comes to flashy kitchen moves the 23-year-old is probably asking for trouble. Lingard was in giddy mood whilst showing himself to be an expert tosser on Pancake Day. It was all fun and games until someone got hurt - and that someone was him. If a red hot pancake burning him wasn't bad enough, the subsequent screaming just made things worse...
