Ian Wright somehow, some way managed to overlook the obvious in his team of the year

Not having that

OK, let’s make this clear from the get-go.

Eric Dier is a phenomenal talent but can anyone say, hand on heart, that the versatile Spurs youngster has had a better season than N’Golo Kante?

The Leicester midfielder has been a revelation since signing from Caen last summer and he’s rightly been recognised by the Professional Footballers’ Association in their Team of the Year and has also been nominated as one of six candidates for the Player of the Year gong.

But, bizarrely, he’s not been considered by Arsenal legend Ian Wright who could find no place for the Frenchman when he revealed his Team of the Year on Fletch and Sav this weekend.
