Northern Ireland scored a historic victory at Euro 2016 on Thursday evening, beating Ukraine 2-0 in their second group game.
The win in Lyon marked their first at a major tournament since Gerry Armstrong scored that memorable winner against Spain 34 years ago.
Gareth McAuley headed home the country’s first goal in the 49th minute before super substitute Niall McGinn sealed the victory in stoppage time with a cool finish after the goalkeeper parried it straight into his path.
The only thing that overshadowed the brilliant moment for Northern Ireland was the outstanding commentary from Ian Dowie. No words can describe it because he opted not to use any words... just screams.
