Watch former Arsenal man Gervinho get red carded for stamping on player’s balls

This will make your eyes water...

Gentlemen, get ready to wince.

Remember Gervinho, Arsenal fans? Well, the inconsistent winger/striker/ wandering attacker is playing in the Chinese Super League for the mighty Hebei CFFC… and he’s *still* making the highlight reels for all the wrong reasons.

At the weekend, the Ivorian received his marching orders for stamping on an opposition player’s testicles. After losing possession of the ball (ah, memories), his opponent slides to the floor, leaving a clear path to “the goods”.

Gervinho then clumsily drives his foot straight into his groin, in an apparent attempt to win back the ball. Understandably, the player on the floor soon starts to roll about in agony.

Clearly, the referee was left with little choice but to send him for an early bath, although he did his best to persuade the referee that he had simply been going for the ball.  In fairness, he got two.
