If only he had reflexes like this against France...
Despite losing the World Cup final, the Croatia team were welcomed home by more than half a million people in Zagreb to a heroes' welcome. And deservedly so. The country only formed 19 years ago and has a population of four million. Reaching a World Cup final is an incredible achievement and they should be commended for their efforts.
The celebrations continued into the week, with the squad parading the streets on bus rooftops and fans filling the streets to shower their heroes in praise.
One of Croatia's stars of the tournament was Domagoj Vida - he was an absolute rock in defence and popped up with an important goal against Russia in the quarter-finals too.
But during the celebrations, he appeared to have a lapse in concentration as he lost his balance, almost slipping and falling from the top of a bus.
Thankfully for the defender, Danijel Subašić was there to catch him before he hit the road. It's those reflexes that have propelled Subašić to the top of the footballing world a a goalkeeper, although every Croatian will be wishing he displayed such quick reactions in the final.

Fashion focussed Instagram account Style Zagreb published the video, with the caption: "This was probably the 5th time that the lovely Vida shone. Subašić caught him right away, and Modric kept one hand and recorded the other for his story ? Our great guys."
