As strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk struggled to cope with the aggressive grappling strategy of rival Claudia Gadelha early on, McGregor couldn't help himself and leaped to his feet.

McGregor analysed the situation and appeared to yell some advice to Jedrzejczyk, presumably based around disengaging from tight quarters to enable her to turn the bout into a striking contest.
