Manchester United's lack of goal threat in recent weeks has been well documented.

While Javier Hernandez has been banging in the goals in the Bundesliga, another player allowed to leave Old Trafford in the summer has been bagging a couple of goals in France.

Angel Di Maria showed he was back to his best on Saturday with a pair of stellar goals in Paris Saint German's Ligue 1 clash with Angers.

Di Maria's opener, a stunning volley from about 25 yards from the goal really set the tone for the type of performance he was going to give. The ball arrived to the Argentine quickly, but he made the instinctive adjustments to hammer home a sensational volley to beat the out-of -position goalkeeper.
