Having fielded an ineligible player for their Copa del Rey match against Cadiz, Real Madrid look set to be booted out of the competition.
Russian winger Denis Cheryshev opened the scoring in a 3-1 win for Los Blancos but news of the embarrassing oversight had reached the Cadiz supporters during the game.
With Rafa Benitez's men facing likely expulsion from the competition, the news comes as a boost to their rivals, Barcelona.
The current holders of the cup, Barça eased to a 6-1 victory over Villanovense at Camp Nou.
Gerard Pique was rested for the comfortable victory but, judging by this tweet, it's clear something amused the defender.

Naturally, many suggested the tweet was prompted by the events in Cadiz.
