As it turned out, it was a penalty in the dying moments of the League One clash between Peterborough and Southend United, presumably because the referee decided to overrule his assistant on 80% of his decisions.
Some wag pointed out on Twitter that it looked like he was trying to land a plane. Our best guess is that the rhythm got him and he was trying his version of the Macarena.
Oh, and the penalty was saved by Southend goalkeeper Daniel Bentley, resulting in a 0-0 draw.
