Imagine the feeling: You're pedalling as hard as you can, desperately trying to record a decent time...and then Bradley Wiggins speeds past you at over 40mph.

The 35-year-old competed in the City Road Club open on the A63 near Hull on Saturday, and hoped to break the British 10-mile record. Sadly for Wiggins, he was 38 seconds behind Alex Dowsett's best time set in June 2014, but still clocked some speed as this video shows (start at 4.10).
