Imagine the feeling: You’re pedalling as hard as you can, desperately trying to record a decent time…and then Bradley Wiggins speeds past you at over 40mph.
The 35-year-old competed in the City Road Club open on the A63 near Hull on Saturday, and hoped to break the British 10-mile record.
Sadly for Wiggins, he was 38 seconds behind Alex Dowsett’s best time set in June 2014, but still clocked some speed as this video shows (start at 4.10).
Wiggins won the race and took home a £50 prize from the organisers…
