It's important Victor Valdes puts things into perspective at this point.
After all, this time last month he was a pariah at Manchester United, banished from the first-team by Louis van Gaal and reportedly made train alone.
So, although he's already made a massive howler for Standard Liege, the Belgian side he's currently on-loan with from United, at least he's not still a f0otball outcast.
Standard had been leading shortly before half-time when Valdes flapped at a corner, and a Liege defender's clearance smashed off striker Nick Proschwitz's face for the equaliser. Opponents St-Truiden went on to win 2-1.
We're not sure why Valdes wasn't able to do the basics - perhaps he was still thinking about his treatment under Louis van Gaal.
