We doubt Steven Gerrard ever had to do anything like this when he played for Liverpool.
The LA Galaxy midfielder was one of several MLS players to take a special Valentine's Day quiz, where they had to decipher a phrase written entirely in emoji. Here's the phrase - can you work it out?
Gerrard couldn't, and nor could former Premier League players Clint Dempsey and Giles Barnes.
But Irish international Kevin Doyle clearly knows his emojis, as he was the first to provide the correct answer.
