It's not quite Robot Wars, but this is still pretty impressive.

With everything from driving our cars to taking our jobs, machines are slowly become a bigger and bigger part of our lives. But while their previous endeavours have mostly been functional, this move into the world of sport is a little more worrying. During the unfortunately-named Waste Management Phoenix Open's pro-am day this week, the Launch Directional Robot Intelligent Circuitry - aka LDRIC the golf robot - hit its first ever hole-in-one at the TPC Scottsdale's infamous 16th hole. Perhaps they're hoping that recreational activities will distract the machines from the inevitable robot uprising. https://youtu.be/2CVURQdFILk
