In a newly re-released clip from his time in the AFC Bournemouth academy, a teenage Ings takes on team-mate Muzzy Holmes in the show’s ‘Skill Skool’ segment.
Over three rounds of showboating, the new Anfield arrival embarrasses Holmes, who quite literally has his shorts pulled down.
Ings is not the only member of the Liverpool squad to put his skills to the test in this particular realm, with a youthful Jordan Henderson and an even more youthful Raheem Sterling both trying their luck.
However Henderson wasn’t quite able to match up to his new team-mate, losing to fellow Sunderland youth product Nathan Luscombe.
