Ched Evans has scored on his debut for Chesterfield.
The striker signed for the League One side on a one-year deal this summer, four years after playing his last game of football.
Evans was jailed in 2012 after being convicted of the rape of a 19-year-old woman, a charge which he has always denied, and served half of a five-year sentence.
However, earlier this year, Evans’ conviction was quashed on appeal and a retrial ordered.

The 27-year-old lined out for his new club in a friendly against Ilkeston this weekend, scoring one and setting up another in a 3-0 victory.

“I am very excited and privileged to be resuming my career at Chesterfield and I hope to make a valuable contribution both on and off the pitch for the football club, the fans and the community,” Evans said after signing his contract.
The former Wales international will face a retrial in October.
