The game was a big pile of s**te. The penalties were, however, very welcome.

But poor Gonzalo Higuain. The Argentinian forward was brought on for Sergio Aguero and, well, it's not too harsh to say that he completely blew it. First off, he missed an injury time sitter that would've won Argentina their first Copa America in 22 years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wH2XKvMOn7s Then, he hit his penalty so far over the bar that NASA was probably on alert. Okay, his wasn't the decisive one, and Ever Banega missed one too but God it was a bad night for Higuain. For Chile, though, it was the stuff dreams are made of. Their national anthem before the game was absolutely, hair-raisingly spectacular - if you haven't watched it, honestly you really should. https://youtu.be/Y5ybR_fEaSg Then they held the World Cup finalists goalless over 120 poor enough minutes. But it didn't matter one bit when it came down to four of their players standing tall from 12 yards. And none of them bottled it (although, Arturo Vidal tried his best). Alexis Sanchez stepped up and put away the winner with all the coolness of a man who had no right to be that cool in his position. Fair play. Watch the penalties below. https://youtu.be/wvop5ynweqE
