Middlesbrough have completed the signing of multi-Champions League winner, Victor Valdes.
Although it's quite a coup for the newly-promoted side, it's worth noting that the Teesiders have had a few stellar names on their books over the years... Fabrizio Ravanelli, Gaizka Mendieta, Juninho, Phil Stamp... they've all plied their trade at the Riverside over the last couple of decades as the club have dipped in and out of the Premier League.
Nevertheless, the signing of the former Barcelona goalkeeper is a good bit of business for the club on their latest top-flight return. It's just a shame that the goalkeeper's hair seems to be attracting just as much interest as the fact he's got a new club.
Yep. Gone is the Victor Valdes buzz cut we've come to know and expect, replaced by this...

The sight of a slightly longer-haired Valdes generated plenty of tweets.
