Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank has issued an update after first team stars Randal Kolo Muani and Wilson Odobert were involved in a car crash.
The incident is reported to have occurred on the M25 motorway in Hertfordshire on Tuesday afternoon, a day before the club's next Champions League clash.
French footballer Odobert had been following closely behind his compatriot when the crash occurred, and pulled over to lend assistance.
They can both be seen alongside the damaged car in images widely circulated by X account "Lilywhite Rose."
According to Frank, the incident was caused by a tyre blowing out on Kolo Muani's car.
Speaking to press, the Spurs manager said: "Kolo Muani and Wilson Odobert are both fine,”
“Unfortunately they were both involved in a minor accident. Everyone else involved in that accident was fine.
"It was a tyre blowing up and so the two of them are a little bit delayed. But they will land later tonight.”
"I haven’t spoken to them personally yet. The first message is that they are fine and nothing happened, " he added.
It remains to be seen if the pair return to the Spurs squad in time for Wednesday night's vital Champions League clash with Eintracht Frankfurt, although Spurs fans should feel confident of their inclusion, after Frank added: "They will fly out later and I fully expect both to be available for tomorrow.”
