UFC want a massive cut from Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather, according to Bob Arum

It's looking increasingly likely that the Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather circus sideshow is actually going to happen.

If, and when, it does go down, there is only one guarantee - money. Think of the fattest stacks you can possible. Then imagine they just went through a tough break-up and went to town on the Ben & Jerry's freezer. We're talking morbidly obese, mumu-wearing, mobility scooter-riding stacks for this paradoxical prize fight that's so nonsensical, but also makes so much sense. In an interview with FightHub, he claimed that they're looking to take half of McGregor's purse. Although this will likely be dwarfed by Mayweather's cut, remember what we told you about the physique of these stacks.

"I think the only impediment there is the UFC, because UFC doesn't treat fighters the same way that boxing promoters do. In other words, UFC fighters get so much less than boxers do. They proposed a deal to Conor that on his share of the purse, they take 50 percent. Now, give me a break."

That may explain why Dana White dramatically changed his tune about the fight being booked, anyway. Arum doesn't expect much if the fight goes ahead, and predicts a very one-sided affair. He added that if the fight doesn't end up being booked, there will only be one party to blame.

"If the fight doesn't happen, not that I think it's going to be a great fight, because I think Conor fighting Mayweather is not really a fight, if it's boxing. Conor (is a) great MMA fighter, but hasn't shown anything in boxing. And Mayweather's one of the great fighters. But if that fight doesn't happen, the blame will only be on the UFC."
