At the time of writing, there are over 600 fighters on the UFC’s roster. That’s more athletes than there are in the NBA. With that many fighters on the books and so many foreign markets to develop, the world’s largest MMA promotion has never been more multicultural.
So, we’re giving you the names of 38 fighters who have competed inside the UFC’s Octagon. All we ask of you is to name the country each one was born in. If that country no longer exists, we’re looking for the modern country that has replaced it.
For example, recent UFC signee Antonina Shevchenko was born in the Soviet Khirgizia, an area which is known today as Kyrgyzstan. (hint, hint!)
