Dillon Danis was one of the three individuals involved in the UFC 229 post-fight melee whose suspensions were extended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission on Wednesday
A commission meeting resulted in Danis, Zubaira Tukhugov, and Abubakar Nurmagomedov all receiving extended suspensions for their roles in the brawl which marred the main event of UFC 229 last month.
A disciplinary hearing will decide on their final punishments but that is not expected to take place until December or next January.
Danis, a training partner of Conor McGregor’s, was the target of Khabib Nurmagomedov when he jumped out of the Octagon to confront the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist after submitting ‘The Notorious’ in the fourth round of their UFC lightweight title fight.
Chaotic scenes followed which involved several members of Nurmagomedov’s entourage, including Tukhugov and Abubakar Nurmagomedov.

Danis, Tukhugov and Nurmagomedov were not present when the NSAC confirmed the extensions of their suspensions this week.
McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov received their extended suspensions on October 24 and their cases will be next heard at a commission meeting on December 10.
Interestingly, neither Rizvan Magomedov nor Esedulla Emiragaev were discussed at Wednesday’s hearing despite being listed on the NSAC agenda for their roles in the brawl.
Magomedov has been identified by several as the catalyst for the melee as he apparently taunted Danis as he entered the Octagon to celebrate Nurmagomedov’s victory.
Emiragaev, meanwhile, is believed to have been the man who struck McGregor from behind in the cage.
