Tyson Fury is eager to put a lot of money on the outcome of Joshua vs. Klitschko

He sounds pretty confident

Tyson Fury has taken Wladimir Klitschko’s best shots.

But while he was able to walk through them and claim a unanimous decision in Dusseldorf in 2015, Fury is not so confident that Anthony Joshua can do the same.

Klitschko returns to action against the enigmatic ‘AJ’ on Saturday night and it’s safe to say that Fury sees the contest going only one way.

Reported to have re-entered training camp ahead of his long-awaited comeback, Fury hopes to earn a bit of money without the need to lace up his gloves as he has sought out a bookmaker who will take his bet on the outcome of this weekend’s Wembley showdown.

The controversial fighter got in touch with Oddschecker in the hope that they would find him the best odds and Fury revealed the significant stake he wanted to put on the result.

Fury reckons that Klitschko will not only get the better of Joshua but he believes that he will get the stoppage against the London 2012 gold medallist.

And he wants to put £100,000 on it!

Klitschko hasn’t knocked an opponent out in three years while Joshua possesses a perfect professional record of 18 wins and no losses, with all victories coming by way of knockout.

But Fury has a decent track record of picking fights, having reportedly bet his uncle and trainer, Peter Fury, that he would upset Klitschko in Germany before predicting that underdog Tony Bellew would enjoy a successful heavyweight debut by overcoming David Haye earlier this year.

“We aren’t sure if Tyson Fury is being serious, but if he is we’ve managed to find a partner willing to take his bet,” Oddschecker spokesman, Sam Eaton said. “Fury predicted that Bellew would beat David Haye, so who knows he could be on to something. The ball is in his court now.”
