Tyson Fury casts doubt over Klitschko rematch by claiming he could retire from boxing

Tyson Fury has sensationally claimed that he could walk away from boxing, before his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko.

After upsetting the Ukrainian in November to claim the WBA, IBF and WBO titles, the pair were expected to meet again in a fight in May of June of this year. However, speaking to BBC Radio 5 live, Fury has now revealed he may call time on his boxing career. "I'm struggling to get motivated," he explained. "I could walk away. I could just sail into the sunset unbeaten with all the belts and live a normal life." The 27-year-old claimed he has never wanted to be motivated purely by the sport's financial rewards and stressed that the rematch with Klitschko was yet to be confirmed.

"All that I would be boxing for is money and I always thought to myself I never want to let sport become about money," he said. "I've accomplished a dream. It's about how much motivation I have to keep going on. "There is life after boxing and I don't know what I'm going to do at the moment. I haven't even cemented I am going to fight in a rematch."
