Garry Monk has become the fourth Premier League manager to lose his post since the start of the season.
Monk follows Tim Sherwood, Brendan Rodgers and Dick Advocaat in leaving a top-flight club this campaign.
Swansea “reluctantly” parted company with the 36-year-old, who had only replaced Michael Laudrup in 2014, though not everyone is convinced about how difficult a decision it was.

There has been plenty of speculation about his replacement, and based on Swansea’s track record you’d imagine they have already identified some potential names.
Garry Monk out, David Moyes in. Unless, somehow, Rodgers agrees to going back.
