Twitter reacts as Arsenal gift West Brom victory

Tom Victor

For all their Champions League struggles, Arsenal have been uncharacteristically solid in the Premier League so far this season.

But as soon as talk of a legitimate title challenge came to the fore, the old Arsenal have made a return.

The Gunners were cruising at 1-0 up against West Bromwich Albion, only to allow Tony Pulis’ men to turn the game on its head before half-time.

First James Morrison got on the scoresheet, turning in a Chris Brunt free-kick.

Before Mikel Arteta’s own goal gave the hosts a half-time lead.

Arsenal missed a golden chance to equalise after the break, only for Santi Cazorla to miss the target from the penalty spot.

And if that all wasn’t enough, Arsene Wenger’s side lost Arteta and Francis Coquelin to injuries.

So, just more of the same then for Arsenal…
