Sterling puts house up for sale

Ah, a classic of the transfer genre: Player puts house up for sale and so is obviously leaving in the summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Raheem Sterling has put his home in the North West on the market and is actively looking for new digs in London.

The winger is stalling on Liverpool’s £100,000-a-week contract offer, with Arsenal thought to have expressed an interest in a summer move.

Toure to Inter Milan?

Manchester City had better make bloody sure they don’t forget Yaya Toure’s birthday tomorrow if they want to keep the midfielder this summer.

The 31-year-old is being courted by former boss Roberto Mancini, who wants to take Toure to Inter Milan for £10m, according to the Daily Star.

With City in the hunt for Paul Pogba, it might be the right time for the Ivorian to leave, freeing up a good chunk of the wage bill.

Van Persie to leave United?

Robin van Persie’s days at Manchester United could be numbered, report the Guardian.

The 31-year-old has struggled for form and fitness over the past two seasons, with Louis van Gaal apparently seeking more reliable striking options to bolster his squad.

Van Persie has just a year left on his contract, but is thought to be determined to gain an extension.
