Tottenham join race to sign Bordeaux forward Malcom in January window

He has lit up Ligue 1 this season.

Tottenham Hotspur are keen to sign Bordeaux forward Malcom in the January transfer window, according to reports from Sky Sports.  The Brazilian forward has impressed many of the giants of European football, with Manchester United and Bayern Munich also reportedly interested. Malcom joined the French club from Corinthians in January 2016, and the 20-year-old is enjoying his most productive season so far. He has already scored seven league goals this season, mostly from the right wing, equalling his tally from 2016/17. Bordeaux will want big money for the prospect, with the figure of £50m being reported as the asking price. Spurs have been linked strongly with Wilfried Zaha over the last few transfer windows, but with Crystal Palace determined to keep their talisman, the North London club seem to be looking elsewhere for attacking options.
