But it's not just because of his exploits on the pitch, but also in terms of his phenomenal social media history.
You may have seen the now infamous picture of the Spurs midfielder from his pre-professional footballer days. The claim was that it was from his old Myspace profile, although the lack of evidence left some people very sceptical.

But Alli confirmed that the image is indeed genuine in a recent interview with
Complex UK.
When asked if it was really him, Alli laughs before answering: "The Picture! Yeah, that is me. I thought it was funny and I was gonna put it as my WhatsApp photo – or wear it as fancy dress."
