Tottenham have confirmed the signing of Sergio Reguilón from Real Madrid. The 23-year-old joins for a fee of €30m with a €45m buy back clause in his contract.
The club announced the signing with a video, at the end of which Reguilón speaks into a phone and says "Hello mate, I think it's your turn," obviously alluding to Gareth Bale's imminent return to north London.
Although I'm not sure Bale will have got the message if rumours about his level of Spanish are to be believed.

Spurs have also dropped a teaser for Gareth Bale's new shirt number in their Twitter bio. If you cast your mind back to the late noughties, when Bale first joined Tottenham, he wore number 16, then was given 3 (now Reguilón's) when he became a regular left-back, before taking 11 as he morphed into a winger.
If you look at their bio, these numbers are listed in order, with '09' at the end, suggesting the Welshman will take the vacant number nine at the club.
Can he live up to the standards set by Roberto Soldado and Vincent Janssen? Only time will tell.
