Tommy Fury vs KSI fight result changed amid YouTuber’s ‘robbery’ claim

There is now absolutely no doubt Fury won the fight

Tommy Fury has been handed an unanimous-decision victory over KSI after it was revealed Sunday that one of the judges added up his score card wrong.

Fury was announced as the winner in Manchester on Saturday by majority decision after a six-round cruiserweight match, extending his unbeaten record to 10 bouts.

The 24-year-old was initially awarded the fight by two judges, 57-56, but a third judge scored the bout a draw.

Pictures circulating on social media in the hours after the fight showed the third scorecard had been tallied wrong.

The PBA, which oversees many of the influencer boxing fights, has now changed the judge’s score with Furry now a unanimous winner rather than one by majority decision.

The change is a further blow to KSI who suggested after the final bell that the decision was “a robbery” and launched an appeal.

“Robbery, it’s a robbery bro,” he said.

“How many jabs did he land? And he had a point taken off as well. You weren’t landing. Look at your face, look at your eyes. Look at you.

“He is the man who is meant to be a pro boxer and he won a majority decision? It’s outrageous man. The amount of times he hit me in the back of the head. So many times. And the referee only took one point? He kept doing it over and over. I’m sorry, it’s outrageous. We’re going to appeal, I want to appeal. I felt like I won that.”

Tommy Fury vs KSI scorecards were added up wrong

KSI seemed to soften his stance after watching the fight back – and wrote on X that he still thought he was the victor: “Appreciate all the kind messages from everyone.

“In the ring and watching it back I feel like I should have won. Either way I feel like I accomplished what I wanted to in the end. This little untalented nerd was able go toe to toe with a professional boxer. Use me as the living proof that hard work and self belief can get you anywhere in this life.”

Fury, the younger brother of heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury, landed 12 jabs and 30 punches during the fight.

The fighters were evenly matched throughout and the victory could have gone either way after Fury received a point deduction for a punch to the back of his opponent’s head in round two.

On the night, Fury hit back at KSI calling him a “sore loser” and a “bum” and suggested he return to making YouTube content.

After his win, Fury called out Conor McGregor suggesting he would like to fight the UFC great next.

The victory was the second for Fury this year, having defeated another influencer-turned-boxer, Jake Paul, in Saudi Arabia in February, but the former Love Island contestant said his next fight wouldn’t necessarily be a rematch against either influencer. Both want one.

In an interview with Fight Hub TV, Fury said he was now “head of the table” in influencer boxing, “and no one can deny that.”

“I bet Jake Paul and I bet KSI all inside 12 months. I won this crossover boxing now so any further and future fights will be on my demands, when I want to fight. It’s all up to me now, and how can you argue with that?”

When asked who is the priority for a re-match out of Paul and KSI, Fury said he “isn’t bothered at all.”

“But, at the end of the day, it is what it is. I’m head of the table now. We will sit down with the entire team and work out what it next, but who is to say it has to be Paul, who says it has to be KSI.

When Fight Hub TV suggested McGregor had called out KSI, and he had just beaten KSI, Fury wasted no time suggesting he would like to take up the chance to fight The Notorious.

“Let me say this, yeah, I would love to share the ring with Conor McGregor, and if Conor McGregor wants it next, I say, I will 100 per cent share the ring with him, because I’m a fan of Conor McGregor, I like him, he’s a good man, he got me into UFC,” he said.

“But if he wants to share the ring, man is there, the offer is there. I’ll have Conor next.”
