While the FA Cup represents their best chance at a trophy this season, The Times have produced a statistic which won't leave United fans too confident ahead of the match against the Hammers.
The paper claims that 'United have managed one or zero shots on target in no fewer than eight of their past 30 Barclays Premier League matches and in six of the past 21.
'For a club of United's resources, that is as extraordinary as it is embarrassing. To put that in context, in Ferguson's final ten seasons in charge, spanning 380 Premier League games, it happened only 15 times, which was no doubt 15 too many for the Scot’s liking.'
