And while some of us might be obsessed with transfer rumours, there's another major talking point ahead of the 2016/17 campaign - the new official match ball.
Nike have the honour of supplying the ball once more, and the forthcoming season will see the debut of the Nike Ordem 4.
The biggest thing about the new ball, according to the manufacturer, is its use of the 'Flow Motion' design principle, with Nike saying in a release that it applies 'a luminance that ensures excellent visibility while the ball is in play'.
Clearly it's not just Aaron Ramsey who's been taking measures to become easier to see on Premier League pitches.
As well as being used in the Premier League, the Nike Ordem 4 will be the ball of choice in La Liga and Serie A.
