Barcelona have had more world-class players than most this century, so when someone like Neymar comes along the benchmark is already high.
But week after week, the Brazilian has shown he is more than capable of rising to the occasion.
The 23-year-old struck four times in the victory over Rayo Vallecano, bringing him level with three of the greatest forwards to ever grace Camp Nou.

Kluivert scored four away to Tenerife in 2002, Eto’o did the same against Valladolid in 2008, and Messi achieved the feat against Osasuna in 2013 (while he’s scored plenty of hat-tricks as well).
Not a bad quartet to be part of.
