Crystal Palace have completed something of a transfer coup by signing Marseille's extremely highly-rated goalkeeper Steve Mandanda for a bargain £1.5m. The French international signed a 3-year-deal after passing a medical on Friday. But it's not his 22 caps that impress us, nor the fact that he has been named Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Year four times, but rather his superb reactions and cool-as-you -like response to a fan missile on French TV last year. https://twitter.com/CPFC/status/748833616319307778 Marseille had just thrashed south-west rivals Toulouse 6-1, and Mandanda was taking part in a live post-interview at the side of the pitch. One disgruntled rival fan decided to express his annoyance by throwing a bottle of water at the reporter. Mandanda, using his ridiculous reflexes, reacted with cat-like speed to catch the bottle. Not only that, but he didn't even break from the interview and casually asked the reporter "Would you like some water?"
