Thierry Henry praised Liverpool supporters for the brilliant atmosphere at Anfield after taking part in Sunday's All-Star charity game.
“I’ve said so many times these fans are amazing," said Henry, who witnessed the great reception afforded to Luis Suarez on his return from Barcelona.
"This was the first time I was allowed to be able to watch them sing You’ll Never Walk Alone and enjoy it.
“This crowd have won so many points for this team and football club.”
Henry played down his own involvement in the match, however, shrugging off the reaction to an outrageous piece of skill that had Arsenal fans on Twitter wishing their hero was still playing.
"That’s the type of stuff I like to do sometimes," said Henry.
