Fabrizio Taddei, export manager for Italian sportswear suppliers Errea, told the Times: "We are having huge demand and since Iceland beat England I has gone crazy. There have been thousands and thousands of orders from Scotland…but there is demand from all over Europe."
Scots unable to get their hands on an Iceland shirt decided to get a bit more creative with their rival taunting. They wore plastic bags bearing the Iceland supermarket logo as they watched the game, not to be deterred by the 5p cost. Commitment to the ridicule.
