The UFC is coming back to London, and here’s how to get tickets

The last one sold out in 27 minutes.

Less than a year after the dramatic main event which set Michael Bisping towards becoming UFC middleweight champion, the promotion has announced its return to London.

Bisping came back from the brink to see off Anderson Silva at the O2 Arena last February, winning by unanimous decision after it looked as though the Brazilian almost had victory in the bag.

That card, which also saw middleweight contender Gegard Mousasi begin his current three-fight winning streak, sold out in just 27 minutes.

And the next UFC Fight Night London – taking place on March 18 2017 – seems likely to go the same way as mixed martial arts continues its revival in the UK.

The 2017 event will be held at the O2 once more, with tickets going on general sale on January 27.

Fights will be announced nearer the time, but we can expect a strong British presence, perhaps involving a few of the names who lit up the Manchester Arena at UFC 204.

The current top-ranked London fighter is light-heavyweight Jimi Manuwa, who crept into the top five at 205lb after stopping Ovince Saint-Preux in Manchester.

Will we get a chance to see ‘Poster Boy’ dab in the capital? He certainly seems keen.
