Well that was f**king dreadful.

There is no need for match reports when a five-word Inbetweeners quote pretty much perfectly sums up the display from England in Slovenia on Tuesday night. Gareth Southgate watched his side notch up just the the three shots on target throughout the 90 minutes, their lowest tally in a competitive game in over two years, and it really made for uninspiring viewing. Wayne Rooney started the game on the bench (you may have read something about that) and he was called on after 73 minutes to turn the tide but, apparently, the tide was unturnable in the 0-0 draw. Not even the introduction of Marcus Rashford could bring the required intensity to the pitch as the Slovenian scoreboard minder received an easy night's work. But the jokes on Twitter weren't half bad, at least. https://twitter.com/radiorobhoward/status/785939430368546816?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw https://twitter.com/Pundamentalism/status/785934373673508864 https://twitter.com/BoringMilner/status/785943338952327168 https://twitter.com/GaryLineker/status/785935120310083585 https://twitter.com/maxrushden/status/785913480704585728 https://twitter.com/Stevenmorgan27/status/785942884612800512 https://twitter.com/Copa90/status/785934390341677056?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw https://twitter.com/chrissumpter80/status/785939010979966977?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw https://twitter.com/sjsidwell/status/785940207078084608 https://twitter.com/omid9/status/785942533834702852 https://twitter.com/nadderley/status/785942262765289472 Catch up with the latest episode of Football Friday Live:
