Take a look inside Floyd Mayweather’s new $7.7m mansion

The best 'Money' can buy

Tom Victor

You can see why Floyd Mayweather is known as ‘Money’.

The former multi-weight world champion retired from boxing last year with a 49-0 career record and a healthy sum to his name, and it seems he has been splashing some of that cash of late.

In a break from making noise about a potential superfight with Conor McGregor, the 39-year-old has been investing in a new property.

The Miami Beach mansion cost him $7.7m (£5.3m) according to the Los Angeles Times, and it turns out you can get quite a bit for that kind of cash.

Mayweather famously earned $4,994,681 per minute from his victory over Manny Pacquiao in the ‘Fight of the Century’ in 2015. That equates to eight figures in the two minutes and 41 seconds it took you to watch the video above.

We don’t all have that kind of earning power, though, so here are some stand-out photos of the property.

You knew it was going to be impressive, but – be honest – you probably weren’t expecting anything quite as stunning as this.

Oh, and obviously he’s got plenty of other properties if he doesn’t feel like spending the whole year at this one.
