Steven Gerrard makes second signing as Rangers manager
He's not wasting any time
Steven Gerrard has made his second signing as manager of Rangers after securing the services of Hull City goalkeeper Allan McGregor on a two-year contract.
The 36-year-old had previously played 205 games for the Scottish Premiership club between 2001 and 2012, before heading to Turkey to join Besiktas for a season and then moving onto Hull City, a spell which also involved a season-long loan at Cardiff City on 2017.
In moving to Ibrox he becomes Gerrard's second signing after Burnley midfielder Scott Arfield joined on a four-year deal.

“I’m buzzing,” he told RangersTV. “I cannot keep the smile off my face! When the chance came it was an absolute no-brainer so I’m buzzing to be back.
“I started training here when I was 12 years old, I used come through the main stand twice, three times a week and just to be back it’s incredible.
“You need to make this place a fortress where no one wants to come and you need to win games, it doesn’t matter who you are playing every opportunity is a chance for three points. If you keep doing that and doing that, that is what wins you titles.”
