Steph Curry got shaken out of his shoes last night and it was brutal

The greatest shooter the NBA has ever seen had a bit of a rough night

While his team took home the W, Steph Curry found himself being handed an L last night by Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul.

Mixing it up in the first game of the NBA Western Conference Finals at the Toyota Centre in Houston, both the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets went head to head in a battle for basketball supremacy where on this occasion the Warriors came out on top.

With plenty of highlights, including Kevin Durant’s 37 points and 3 rebounds, and James Harden’s 41 points and 4 rebounds, one of the most talked about topics of the night came when Chris Paul shook Steph Curry out of his shoes to the point the Warriors guard ended up on his back on the hardwood.

Attacking the basket, Paul pulled up and left Steph tumbling to the floor. Taking the midrange jumper but missing, had Steph gotten back up instead of laying on the floor in disbelief (and probably embarrassment) at what happened he could have stopped CP3 from getting back to the rim after his teammate tipped the ball back to him for the easy layup.

CP3 was looking for REVENGE.

Paying Steph back for the time he got crossed over by the Warriors star, which left him on the floor, when he played for the Los Angeles Clippers, this is exactly why we love this game.

Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals will take place Thursday morning (May 17th) at 2:00AM.
