Stan Collymore has taken to LinkedIn in an attempt to secure work at Euro 2016.
The former Liverpool and Aston Villa striker is a regular contributor to UK radio station TalkSPORT, hosting a call-in show and performing co-commentary on Premier League games, but currently has no work lined up for France this summer.
Collymore posted this message to his personal profile on the business social network website:
‘Anyone want an award winning broadcaster for this years Euro’s? Would like to do more TV this summer in particular. Not contracted to TalkSPORT for this one so have freedom to work for other broadcasters/outlets. Stan!’
Collymore posted the message a week ago, and there’s no word yet on whether any television networks have taken up his offer.
Don’t worry though Stan. If Mark Lawrenson can get a gig on TV, there’s hope for us all.
