Leicester City missed the chance to go into the new year as Premier League leaders as Manchester City held them to a goalless draw at the King Power Stadium.

It was an open game, by no means as boring as some other goalless affairs have been this season, but the relative lack of goalmouth action meant more time for Twitter wisecracking. Admittedly, much of it focused on Raheem Sterling's haircut. https://twitter.com/OffsideLiam/status/681928220678205441 https://twitter.com/romankemp/status/681950778307772416 https://twitter.com/camerxnx/status/681932657471713280 Jamie Vardy had one of the best chances of the first half, and a few weeks ago he'd have been nailed on to put it away. Things have changed, though. Maybe for good. https://twitter.com/JohnBrewinESPN/status/681934176816361473 https://twitter.com/NickMiller79/status/681934049590546432 And some people thought they'd worked out the secret to the Foxes' success. https://twitter.com/Nuovocastrian/status/681932515259604993 But while Vardy and Mahrez struggled to replicate their early-season form, one man continued to impress. https://twitter.com/JoeBrewinFFT/status/681938181604929536 https://twitter.com/nathenmcvittie/status/681942611486195712 The visitors might have been given a chance to take the lead in the second half when Sergio Aguero went down in the box under Gokhan Inler's challenge. It's safe to say Leicester's Twitter account saw things very differently. https://twitter.com/LCFC/status/681943813254955009 That let-off prompted Leicester to go for broke. https://twitter.com/Marcotti/status/681945508840103936 In the end they couldn't find a breakthrough, but some people looked for the positives in that. https://twitter.com/Dunmoreorless/status/681945959341907969 Neither side can be too unhappy with the result, though the longer-term signs might concern Manuel Pellegrini a little more. https://twitter.com/BenMcAleer1/status/681952829813223424 https://twitter.com/WhoScored/status/681953854817185792
