Here we are again.

It's the Champions League knockout stages and Arsenal have already managed to get dumped out by Bayern Munich. Even though there's still a second leg at The Emirates to come. Having stood by and watched as Arjen Robben scored the most Arjen Robbeny goal in the history of Arjen Robben, Alexis Sanchez drew Arsenal level before half-time. They'd not been great up until this point, but neither had Bayern. However, one Laurent Koscielny injury later, Arsenal imploded in the second half. Robert Lewandowski, a couple from Thiago Alcantara and another from Thomas Müller. 5-1. Good night. Embarrassing. For a few minutes after full-time, it seemed Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had put the piss-covered cherry on the shit cake of a night after this tweet from Paul Hayward started doing the rounds.   Could it really be that the midfielder had mistakenly applauded the home supporters? Thankfully, several other tweets appear to indicate otherwise. It's emerged that the former Southampton man had been applauding Arsenal's away support that were gathered in one of the Allianz Arena's upper tiers. https://twitter.com/UberAFC/status/831982210337095680 Why he appeared to be the *only* Arsenal player doing this after such a dismal result is another matter entirely. There's always next year, Gooners.
