It’s not just Premier League officials that suffer from the odd case of footballing mistaken identity.
From Kieran Gibbs being mistaken for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain by a ref, to this gaffe by Sky Sports which confuses former Manchester United striker Andy Cole for Arsenal legend, Ian Wright – definitely two different people.
Spotted on SkyGo scheduling by Twitter user @jackrhys98, both men were soon alerted to the error. Fortunately, judging by their tweets neither seemed too offended by it.
